Kamal Haasan meets his ‘senior in politics’ Vijayakanth

CHENNAI: Two days before launching his political party, actor Kamal Haasan on Monday met DMDK leader and his “senior in politics” Vijayakanth at the latter’s office here.
“Vijayakanth is a forerunner to me and Rajinikanth when it comes to politics. I have met him after a long time. He is my senior in politics. Before I start my journey into politics, I wanted to meet my senior," Kamal told reporters after his meeting with Vijayakanth.
Kamal said Vijayakanth had wished him well. "Vijayakanth said people like me should come to politics," he said.
When asked to comment on BJP's claim that Dravidian politics had no future in Tamil Nadu, Kamal said, "Dravidian politics will emerge victorious in future too. We will prove it."
